We are delighted to announce that The ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch will take place in the Riverbank Pavilion at Royal Windsor Racecourse on Wednesday, 22nd May 2024.
It is open to all ACS Pacesetters members and each company attending can be presented with a personally engraved award showing that they are a member in 2024. We invite our members to attend with your colleagues and clients and can accommodate tables of up to 10.
The most important part of the day is the awards presented to the front-line Security Officers. Security teams provide a vital role keeping property and individuals safe and we will be recognising and rewarding those Officers who have gone above and beyond in their duties. There will be 12 individual Security Officer of Distinction Awards and the successful Security Officers will be invited to the lunch as our guests (at our cost). The Nomination Form can be downloaded and the deadline to submit these is Friday, 22nd March 2024, at 17.00 hrs. Due to the increasing number of nominations, we limit this to 5 per member company.
We are obtaining sponsors who will be an important part of the day and without their generosity it would not be possible for us to run this event. Should any of our members wish to consider sponsorship we would be pleased to hear from you and provide further information.
We have a guest speaker who will be announced shortly and are inviting end-users of contract security as our guests in order that they can meet members of The ACS Pacesetters.
We also take the opportunity to raise funds for charity with a raffle and this year we will be supporting Felix Fund – The Bomb Disposal Charity www.felixfund.org.uk We have supported this charity on 2 previous occasions and raised over £4,000 due to the generosity of our members and guests. Should any of our members wish to donate a raffle prize to raise funds for this worthwhile charity, this will be greatly appreciated and recognised in our brochure.
