FM Contract Watch were engaged by the owner of a privately-owned security guarding company, based in Scotland, to find a suitable purchaser for their business. The first enquiry was received mid-February this year.
Within a week of being appointed, we had introduced the owner to two potential purchasers and arranged for NDA’s to be signed by both national companies who were seeking to expand their operations in Scotland.
After initial talks, one company was found to be the ideal purchaser and, after the relevant due diligence taking place, we were delighted that the deal was concluded in July, less than 6 months since the initial enquiry.
