We are delighted to have raised a total of £1,775.00 for Hounds for Heroes during the ACS Pacesetters Achievement Awards Lunch on 20th May.
Special thanks must go to TSS Security UK who made a very generous donation which enabled us to beat last year’s target.
The money will assist Hounds for Heroes in placing assistance dogs with injured forces veterans and emergency forces personnel.
Once again, Allen Parton, founder of Hounds for Heroes, together with Anne Wheeley joined us on the day together with 3 assistance dogs. The day closed with Allen giving a memorable talk of his life before taking on his first assistance dog, Endal, and how the partnership transformed him and gave him back his independence. It was a moving and, at times, humorous speech.
